Samba Commands

I keep forgetting the simple commands for adding and changing passwords for Samba. Here it is:

Add a User to Samba
[root@snort root]# useradd – /home/billybob -s /bin/false -n billybob
[root@snort root]# passwd billybob
New UNIX password:
Retype new UNIX password:
passwd: all authentication tokens updated successfully.
[root@snort root]# smbpasswd -a billybob
New SMB password:
Retye SMB password:
Added user billybob.
[root@snort root]#

Restart Samba
[root@snort root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb restart
